Equinox Restores Wind Turbine in North Dakota
A team from our rope access division were deployed to North Dakota, USA to carry out essential maintenance work on a Siemens 2.3 megawatt wind turbine after a devastating electrical fire. An internal restoration programme of works was carried out to bring the turbine back to its original state.
Access to the working areas was achieved using a team of IRATA trained rope access technicians using industrial rope access methods and techniques.
The project was carried out safely and within the estimated time scale.
