Equinox Restores Wind Turbines in Sweden

A team from our rope access division were mobilised to North Swden to carry out essential maintenance work on two Siemens 2.3 megawatt wind turbines after electrical fires.

A full internal restoration programme of works was carried out to bring the turbines back to their original state. All main cables and components were removed and reinstalled on this project using rope access & rigging.

Access to the working areas was achieved using a team of IRATA trained rope access technicians using industrial rope access methods and techniques. These projects was carried out safely and within the estimated time scale.
