Equinox Decontaminates Wind Turbines After Oil Leaks in Montana


A team from our Rope Access division were deployed to the Montana, USA to carry out essential maintenance work on 4, 2.3 megawatt wind turbines.

The task involved external decontamination works on a newly constructed wind turbines which measured 95m in height.

Access to the working areas was achieved using a team of IRATA trained rope access technicians using industrial rope access methods and techniques. The project was carried out safely and within the estimated time scale.
