A team from our rope access division were deployed to Örnsköldsvik, Sweden to carry out essential maintenance work on a Vesta’s 1.65 megawatt wind turbine after a devastating electrical fire. A full internal restoration programme of works was carried out to bring the turbine back to its original state. All main cables and components were removed and reinstalled on this project using rope access & rigging. Full internal recoating was carried out to the turbines steel tower.
