Santa Isabel Wind Farm, Puerto Rico 2019

A team from our Rope Access division were deployed to the Puerto Rico to carry out essential maintenance work on a Siemens 2.3 megawatt wind turbine.

The task involved external decontamination works on a newly constructed wind turbine which measured 80m in height.

Access to the working areas was achieved using a team of IRATA trained rope access technicians using industrial rope access methods and techniques. The project was carried out safely and within the estimated time scale.
